Demolar Be the General Instructor of Yacht Club of SJQU

On September 14th,Yacht Club of Shanghai Jianqiao University（SJQU）was officially opened in Shanghai lingang. XuLijia, the Laser Radial champion of 2012 London Olympic Games, and Mrs. Demolar Du, president of Shanghai Sailing Club attended the opening ceremony. And they were appointed to be the General Instructor of the Yacht Clubby Mr. Pan Yingjie, president of SJQU.

The Yacht Club of SJQU was led by Shi Chenyu, a student from Jewelry College, and officially established under university’s full support. Shi Chenyu is also a member of shipmodeling team. He won two youthmedals in F5-E and F5-10 in the 16th World Shipmodeling Championship, and is passionate about sailing.

Mr. Pan Yingjie said, “Students need to learn the Olympic spirit, to overcome all difficulties with strong belief, and to build the yacht club a special symbol of Shanghai Jianqiao University”. After the opening ceremony, XuLijia and Mrs. Demolar Du got handmade souvenirs from students of Jewelry College.

And Mrs. Demolar Du said, “Shanghai Sailing Club is persisting with sailing’s promotion and education since founded. We will spare no efforts to enhance sailing’s influence among the young generation, and contribute to the revival of China’s sailing spirit.”
