2017 Optimist World Championship is held at Royal Varuna Yacht Club Thailand from 11th to 21st July 2017. 281 youth sailors from 62 countries participated in this regatta; it is the largest participating country in history, with the largest number of sailors. It's a fair regatta, an event that reflects the strength of the sailors.September.2017

Congratulation to the top three sailors, they come from Italy、Malaysia、Costa Rica （they used Far East Boats）; Of the top five sailors, two are from the United States and China (both are Far East Boats).

Far East Boats supply 159 sets new boats, and another 10 sets Far East Boats Boat which are in the local for two years, FAREAST boats share of 60%. Far East Boats strictly comply with the IODA rules, it is strength enough and every angle reaches the limit.

The boat is CAD designed and modeled with 3D moulding modeling software which extends every value to the extreme approved by the Class Rules. We revolutionized the material and manufacture process and first adapted Aluminum alloy female moulding for production. The aluminum female moulding is five-axis CNC machined. The new moulding dramatically improves the machining precision and control the manufacture error better, thus increasing sailing speed.

The EXTREME OPTIMIST will be officially launched on 2018 Boot Düsseldorf.
