Chairman of Far East nominated to Sailor Of The Month

Recently, Demolar Du, chairman of Far East Boats was nominated by Seahorse, an international authoritative industry magazine, for the Sailor Of The Month in March 2019. This is the first Asian female to be nominated for the award since its launched in 2002, which means that her contribution to international sailing industry has been widely recognized.

As the chairman, Demolar DU has made a gesture towards supporting disabled sailing that deserves widespread international recognition, committing to selling the first 1,000 examples of the innovative and long awaited new Simonis-Voogd S\V 14 dinghy design for an astonishing price of just US$3,000 (standard version). Moreover, this price will be fixed for any more boats sold in 2019 with subsequent price rises limited to increases in material costs.
