2020 FAREAST 28R World Championship Postponed Announcement

INTERNATIONAL FAREAST 28R CLASS ASSOCIATION and KIELER YACHT-CLUB have been watching on the COVID-19 raging around the world in the past period of time.

Several countries have opened borders, but different travelling restrictions are still imposed on Europeans and non-Europeans. We can not estimate the situation of this August. Considering the safety that travelling to Europe, it’s difficult for us to plan and hold a successful sailing race.

Besides, the travelling restrictions are different around the world. We can not make sure that each member of association has equal and fair chance to prepare the championship in this august.

Therefore, after federation conference, the committee decided to postpone 2020 FAREAST 28R World Championship to 2021!

INTERNATIONAL FAREAST 28R CLASS ASSOCIATION and KIELER YACHT-CLUB will work together for the new race date.
