Introduction
Since 1983, ASA (American Sailing Association) has established and maintained a complete system of international standards for sailing training programs. It trains instructors and students, and continues to improve the system. The ASA certification is widely accepted by chartering companies and all branch training institutes of the ASA. More than 7,500 navigation instructors have been certified and more than 423,000 students have received ASA certification.
Advanced Training Concept and Humanization
The concept of ASA is that it is safe to sail at sea, easy to learn and enjoyable. We recommend easy-to-learn teaching methods, and explain profound theories in simple language. There is no complete sailing training system in our nation. However, it is critical for the safety of the crews sailing or navigating. Receiving any certification can avoid legal problems.
