Standard and Pro are not a hierarchy. They are different ways to configure the boat. Every sailor has a different training schedule, racing objective and approach to equipment. Fareast offers Standard and Pro configurations so the boat can be specified more closely to suit those practical requirements.

It is designed for individual sailors looking for reliable racing equipment, as well as clubs and training programmes that value consistent specifications, straightforward purchasing and long-term fleet management. It is suitable for both regular training and formal racing, while keeping configuration decisions simple and manageable.
SUPPORT BEYOND DELIVERY
Support Beyond Delivery
A racing dinghy needs more than a reliable hull. Long-term use also depends on access to parts, configuration advice and practical support. Fareast has a support network of more than 60 dealers covering over 50 countries. Spare parts can be ordered through a local dealer or directly from Fareast. Clubs and fleets can also access volume-purchase support, specification guidance, event rentals and optional fleet spare-parts packages.

Fareast supports more than individual boat ownership. Fareast ILCA can serve as an individual training platform, part of a club fleet, or equipment for a large-scale racing programme. In 2025, Fareast prepared and distributed 140 sets of equipment for the ILCA 7 Men’s World Championship.
At the 5th ILCA Asian Open Championship in 2025, Fareast served as the official equipment supplier for the ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 charter-boat programme.

A Proven Step Between Development and Elite Racing ILCA 6 is the equipment used for the women’s single-handed dinghy event at the Olympic Games and one of the most widely established racing rigs in the ILCA class.
