Fareast 28R Debuts at 2026 Bermuda Gold Cup, Further Recognizing Fareast’s Manufacturing Excellence by International Regattas

The 2026 Bermuda Gold Cup will take place in Hamilton Harbour, Bermuda, from 14 to 18 October 2026. As one of the world’s historic match racing events, this regatta brings together top international match racing sailors for high-level competitive duels.

The regatta will adopt the Fareast 28R, built by Shanghai Fareast Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd., as its official race boat. The Royal Bermuda Yacht Club has officially introduced a new fleet of Fareast 28R to serve the 2026 Bermuda Gold Cup and the club’s future events.

The selection of the Fareast 28R as the official boat for the Bermuda Gold Cup marks another recognition of Fareast’s shipbuilding capability and product quality from international regattas. In recent years, multiple Fareast models have featured in premier global sailing competitions. Boats including the 29er and Fareast 28R race across competitive venues worldwide, demonstrating the international competitiveness of China’s sailing boat manufacturing industry.
