ILCA

Introduction

The ILCA class (formerly the Laser Class) is an Olympic sailing class for men and women, and it is a long-lived competitive steerable board boat.There are three types of ILCA sailing ships: ILCA7, ILCA6 and ILCA4. ILCA7 is used for the Olympic sailing men's single boat race, ILCA6 is used for the Olympic sailing women's single boat race, ILCA4 is mainly used for youth sailing training and competition.ILCA sailing was born in 1970 and became an Olympic sailing class in 1996. World Sailing has confirmed that ILCA will continue to be the sailing class for both men and women at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
