On June 28th, 2017 Heixiazi Island China Russia Friendship Regatta was opened, which is shared by Fuyuan of China Heilongjiang Province and Khabarovsk of Russia. This regatta was hosted by Watersport Administration Center of Heilongjiang, government of Fuyuan and government of Khabarovsk, and attracted over 100 sailors and 15 teams from Russia and China. Invited by president of Khabarovsk Sailing Association, Demolar Du, president of Far East Boats was present at the regatta and attended the Closing Ceremony in Russia as the Special Guest.

Far East Boats has actively promoted the regatta and given a helpful hand, and Mrs. Du has attended the regatta as a special guest for continuous two years. During the regatta, Mrs. Du had friendly communications with Qi Yuedong, head of the Heilongjiang Watersport Administration Center, and directors from the Khabarovsk Sailing Association and sport institutions. Mrs. Du said, as a Chinese Sailing Brand, Far East Boats has always been committed to promoting the international sailing sport and is willing to support the sailing culture exchanges between Russia and China.

For better exchanges and interactions between the Chinese Sailing Brand and Russian Sailing Association, Mrs. Du visited the Russian Olympic Committee in Moscow and received warm welcomes from the chairman Oleg Ilyi and CEO Jacob Serzhantov. Mrs. Du talked about the future of sailing sport in China and Russia with the committee and both parties have great confidence.

Besides, Mrs. Du visited the Seven Feet Sailing Club in Vladivostok. The club is opened by retired Navy Officer Mikhail Ermakov, now the vice president of Russian Sailing Association. Mikhail was born in a sailing family and devotes his whole life to the sport, just as his motto, “Life is about sailing”. Mr. Mikhail spares no effort to promote local sailing sport, which Mrs. Du admires most. This visit will certainly build up the friendship and the base for following cooperation.
